Thanks for the article and sorry you had that experience. It's easy to say "should have known better" after the fact, I've been there so don't be too hard on yourself. I would have been surely tempted to redo that client's terrible copy and if he complained then tell him: "I'll do whatever I feel like, GAWD!" But we don't have Uncle Rico's time machine so we just have to move forward!
